Challenges & Learnings

Building a desktop POS system presented unique challenges in bridging web technologies with native desktop capabilities. Integrating Electron with React 19 required careful consideration of IPC communication and process separation.

Implementing offline-first functionality with SQLite taught valuable lessons about data synchronization and local storage management. The bilingual support (English/Arabic) required implementing RTL layouts and managing translation workflows effectively.
